For the past several years, Idaho has taken “Top 5″ billing in so many different polls. This sleepy little state of less than 1.5 million people is getting recognized for being “Best of” in so many different areas!

This morning, an article from CareerBuilder.com was forwarded to my by a colleague, and I’m proud to say that we are able to tout yet another reason as to why Idaho is such a fabulous place to be!

Career Builder put together a wonderful article determining the 15 best states to find work ranked by their unemployment rates.

Guess what. Idaho Ranked #2!

Unemployment rate: 3 percent
Population: 1,499,402
Mean annual wage: $34,810
Top industry: Trade, transportation and utilities (20.2 percent)

Based on facts provided to me by the U.S. Department of Labor the national unemployment rate is 4.9%- 1.9% higher than Idaho!
